In the middle of the indian Ocean, to the west of Thailand's Phang-Nga Province, lies the Similand National Park. This group of islands is considered to be one of the top drive destinations in the world, with excellent sites perfectly suited ot divers of all experience levels. Further north of the Similans, divers can experience the wonders of Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock.
Trips to the southern sites and Bang Tao beach sites are run as half day trips, while trips to the Similan and northern sites are more enjoyable on our live-aboard boat-Jetiya. Unlike most other shops, the trip out to Jetiya, who lives up in the Similan, is by speedboat from Bang Tao, rather than by along, bumpy minibus ride followed by a long boat ride out.
Paradise Diving Plus Co.,Ltd. also offers a full range of dive course, from beginner and test dives to professional, instructor level coursed. Courses can be completed through PADI or CMAS, as well as DSAT for experienced divers looking to take on the challenge of deep, technical diving. A pool that has been specially designed for diver training is conveniently located just behind our 2nd shop at The Kris Resort.

In association with Pearl Andaman Diving (“PAD” or “the Company”) is a business developed with the vision of delivering unique dive experiences/adventures [5-star PADI courses] to the domestic and international adventure diving industry market in Phuket. The partnership with Paradise Diving Plus [5-star CMAS Academy courses] for the season ended June 2009, the Company earned revenues of 19 millions Thai Bhat. For the season ended June 2010, the Company projects earnings of 25 millions Thai Bhat.
The company’s focus on diving locations, encompassing sites in Phuket, the Similan Islands and the Andaman Islands, generates significant and growing consumer demand by leveraging off the locations’ diverse underwater life, prevalence of ship and plane wrecks and pristine conditions. As PADI may well know, the fairly recent uptrend in diversity diving is also anticipated to bring new divers to the existing customer base. Diversity diving and its draw to new, exotic sites, will benefit Pearl Andaman Diving due to the Company’s favorable location and a range of services (including travel and accommodations) that will cater to the expected rise in diving in this region. In addition, general progress in environmental awareness and conscious behavior is drawing increased attention to the international dive market and is anticipated to fuel demand to sites and centers with exceptional offerings.
In order to develop a unique competitive advantage, Pearl Andaman Diving concentrates on providing consistent high quality with respect to equipment, boat fleet, staff and service. Security, comfort and the well being of our guests are the core values of the business.
Employees and their level of education receive specialized attention as well. Due to the widespread target market and different nationalities of Pearl Andaman Diving customers, multilingual staff is a necessity. Alongside a multinational staff, this year, local Thai employees will be trained in English language programs. All employees will also be trained in service procedures, the handling of latest dive technology and educated in the latest PADI course and procedure developments. Instructors and other professional staff will be made available to participate in PADI seminars and continuing education courses.
With heavy marketing (both in printed and online media as well as through brick and mortar efforts) and investments aimed at building a strong presence and client loyalty over the past several years, Pearl Andaman Diving is committed not only to maintaining, but also enhancing its brand. As such, we intend on retaining our present customer base with wider offers, including those afforded by becoming a PADI 5 Star Resort, and initiating new clients into the business of diving. For the 2009-2010 season, we have allocated a USD $50,000 budget to various marketing efforts.
